Industry: Oil and Gas

Project Scope

This Dock project involved the installation of concrete forms and bulkheads in order to facilitate the pouring and finishing of concrete topping slabs, curbs, and piers over the top of a pre-cast concrete structure.  The project scope included: management of logistics to pump concrete long distance for the placement at offshore structures; assembly and maintenance of 500 linear feet combination of a steel pipe and rubber hose used for concrete pumping to offshore concrete pours; 1,250 cubic yard total of cast in place concrete for topping slab, curbs, and equipment foundations; 34,000 square feet of concrete finishing sloped to meet storm water drains; and 8,500 linear feet of control joint cutting and polysulfide joint sealant installation.

Project Stats

  • 34,000 Square Feet of Concrete
  • 1,250 Cubic Yards of Cast-in-Place Concrete
  • CR Meyer Self-Performed: Demolition, Concrete, and Concrete Finishing on all Flat Work
The final result is nothing short of remarkable and field rework was minimal. A special thanks to the managers, engineers and designers, whose attention to safety, cleanliness, quality of work, and perception to detail, was beyond reproach.
